Skill Development

In line with its mission to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for rural youth, Kalindi Singh Shiksha Samiti is empanelled as a “New Age Training Provider” under the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM), Government of Uttar Pradesh. Through this empanelment, the Samiti delivers government-sponsored, industry-aligned, NSQF-compliant skill training programmes free of cost to eligible candidates, with the objective of enhancing employability and promoting self-employment among the youth of the region.

The Samiti operates dedicated Residential Training Centres at two locations — Ghazipur and Varanasi — providing trainees with boarding, lodging and a fully immersive learning environment alongside their classroom and hands-on practical training.

Residential Training Centres

• Ghazipur Residential Training Centre: Three fully residential skill training facility located in Ghazipur district, equipped with training halls, practical labs/workshops, and hostel accommodation for trainees coming from villages across the district and neighbouring areas.
• Varanasi Residential Training Centre: A residential skill training facility serving Varanasi and the surrounding region, extending the Samiti's training footprint into one of eastern Uttar Pradesh's major districts and providing the same boarding, lodging and training infrastructure as the Ghazipur centre.

Through its residential training centres at Ghazipur and Varanasi, the Samiti has trained and certified hundreds of rural youth across multiple job roles, helping them gain industry-recognised skills, secure employment, and pursue entrepreneurship — furthering the Samiti's broader goal of socio-economic transformation in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
